LearnWords Editor - the free editor of the dictionaries to LearnWords.
Easy creation and editing of records of dictionary and more another.
Basic features
- Import from a text file with tab delimiters (support ANSI and Unicode, see File\Import);

Unique features

Creation of a sound pack
The sound pack is file with samples of a pronunciation of words of the dictionary, is used in LearnWords PocketPC or LearnWords Windows.
Previously, specify in "Options \ Sound" the folder containing sound wav- files of a kind (see checkbox and field "Directory with sound files").
In "Options \ Sound" specify what voice will be used for synthesis of a pronunciation of words. Synthesis of speech will provide a pronunciation of all words of the dictionary and studying of a pronunciation of words of any language.
For creation of the sound pack use "File\Save sound pack" or button of the toolbar with the image of a speaker.
Will be received the file of a kind .snd, which should be used together with the dictionary .pdb (be in the same folder).
Use the function of saving of a range of records (see "File\Save" - "Recordset\Portion"),
for drawing up smaller by size of dictionaries and sound pack to it,
with the purpose of economy of memory.

In version 1.6 (24.10.2005):
Support synthesis of speech (both Speech API 5.1 and Speech API 4.0)
Synthesis of speech is used at creation of sound pack of a pronunciation of words to the dictionary.
This provide a pronunciation of all words of the dictionary and studying of a pronunciation of words of any language
for which there is a voice engine of synthesis of speech!
Now can create a sound pack for any dictionary, to copy it on a Pocket PC device and to learn all words with a pronunciation! In version 1.5 (25.11.2004):
- Creation and editing of categories (Tools\Category);
- Sorting by categories (Sort\Sort by categories). In version 1.4 (20.08.2004):
- now you can learn most known words in first order, having executed sorting by frequency in British English (Tools\Sort by frequency). In version 1.3.4 (15.07.2004):
