LearnWords iPhone load any dictionaries of a format .pdb, which you can download on your iPhone
from Dictionaries for iPhone.
Use the freeware editor LearnWords Editor (MS Windows) for creation and editing dictionaries.
Upload the own dictionary on any site, write link and download on your iPhone via program LearnWords iPhone!
Download from AppStore and start LearnWords.
Select the dictionary (italian-first-eng.pdb) and press the "Play" button (top right angle) for starting
education.
You can to delete any dictionary - press from right to left and "Delete" button.

or upload the own dictionary on any site, write link and download on your iPhone via program.
Press the "Download" button (top left angle) and open the "Download" screen.
Write the link on a pdb-dictionary and press the "Download" button
for loading this dictionary (sound pack will be loaded too).
For each word of dictionary it is necessary to execute a sequence of six exercises:
Card - for the first contact with the word.
Press in any part of the screen to get the following word.
Mosaic - clean the two columns against pair of word - translation.
You should mark the word from the left column and the translation from the right column.
Select translation - it is necessary to choose from six variants of translation the correct one
Guess translation - you should to recall the correct translation.
After a few seconds the program shows the correct answer.
Select word - choose from six variants of words the correct one
Writing - it is the correct spelling of word. You must write the word in the field.
Exercises change automatically as you reach a certain level of points.
Points are added for the correct answer (+3 points) and are lost for the wrong answer (-2 points).
The program loads the block from 10 words and in the random order offers
to execute for each of them one of exercises.
Title of program describe name of dictionary, the current exercise, the current record / amount of records,
the current score / limit of studing.
Left button ("Back") - back to list of dictionaries.
Right button ("sound on/off") - switch on/off sound, pronunciation of words.
Toolbar (bottom of screen) has three button:
button "no study" allow to exclude a word from process of studing;
button "clear statistics" will clean the statistics for all records of dictionary;
button "repeat sounds" allow to repeat the pronunciation of current word.
